Step 1 : Choose a Cell which is in the middle of a column ,row or any range which need to select
You can select more than one cell to choose multiple column or row data.
Step 2 : Now to choose a row data ,press SHIFT+Space key on you Windows PC or Mac
Step 3 : To choose Column data,press ,press CTRL+Space key on you Windows PC or Mac
Step 4 : To Select the complete data set ,click on any cell and then press CTRL+A key on your Keyboard
- To Select all the rows and columns with data press CTRL+A keyboard shortcut.
- Alternatively you can also use the other keyboard Shortcut CTRL + SHIFT + SPACE on Windows PC or CMD + SHIFT + SPACE on your Mac.
To select the entire data range including all rows and columns, hit CTRL + SHIFT + SPACE on Windows or CMD + SHIFT + SPACE on Mac.
If the first selected cell is adjacent to the data range, the same method applies; otherwise, if the cell is blank and not next to a dataset, the full row ,column or sheet is picked, not just the date range.
Note also that you can select multiple data rows or data columns by selecting more than one cell in Step 1. For example, if the range B3:B8 is selected, the data rows 3 through 8 will be selected after hitting SHIFT + SPACE
