Follow the below steps to sort cell text color in Google Sheets:
Step 1: Open Google Sheets with your Dataset
Open your Google spreadsheet where you need to sort by color using the cell text color.
In this example, we will use the below dataset with a few rows of data in magenta color text to sort by text color and bring it to the top of our dataset
Step 2: Create a Filter
- Click on any cell on your dataset.
- Now Go to the Data menu and Select “Create a filter” from the drop-down
- Now you see a filter being created in the Top header of each Column
Step 3: Filter by Text Color
- Now Click on the Filter icon on the header of a column as shown below
- Choose “Sort by Color”->”Text Color”->”magenta”(Choose color based on your text color ) from the drop-down options
Your dataset will be sorted with the select cell text color 🙂

You can also sort the data using the Cell background color.
