To get the new Google Chrome.deb kit, use wget:
wget https://dl.google.com/linux/direct/google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb
2 .#Install Google Chrome
On Ubuntu, installing packages requires administrative rights. To install the Chrome.deb package on your system, run the following command as a user with sudo privileges:
sudo apt install ./google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb
Enter your user password when prompted, and the installation will begin.
You have Chrome installed on your Ubuntu system at this stage.

In the Activities search bar type “Google Chrome” and click on the icon to launch the application:
Chrome can also be accessed via the command line by typing google-chrome.

4.#Update Google Chrome
The official Google repository will be added to your system during the installation process. To check the file contents, use the cat command:
cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google-chrome.listThe end result will look like this:
