To create a pie chart in Google Sheets follow the below steps:

Choose the data-set that you want to convert into a Pie Chart.
Click on Insert Menu and Go to Chart .
Generate the required Pie Chart.
Once you change the Chart type to Pie Chart your required Chart will be created.

To create a Pie Chart in Google Sheets we need a data-set with two columns which Google Sheets will use to automatically convert it into a Pie Chart.

We will use the below table of Subjects and Marks Scored to create a Pie Chart in Google Sheets.

You can use your own data set to create a pie chart

Choose the cells that you want to use to create a pie chart in Google Sheets.

To select the entire data-set Click on the first cell in Column A and then press CTRL+A to select the entire data set.

Once you click on Chart, by default Google Sheets will display a Column Chart as shown below.

To create a Pie Chart Click on the down arrow in front of the Column Chart under Chart Type and Select Pie Chart as shown in the below screenshots.

Once you change the Chart type to Pie Chart your required Chart will be created.

To download a pie Chart in Google Sheets follow the below steps.

Click on the generated pie chart
Navigate and Click on the vertical ellipsis button shown as three dots on the upper-right corner of your pie chart.
Click on “Download” from the dropdown options
Now Select the file type in which you want to download the pie charts (.png,.pdf or .svg)

To publish a pie chart in Google Sheets, follow the below steps :

Click on the generated pie chart
Navigate and Click on the vertical ellipsis button shown as three dots on the upper-right corner of your pie chart.
Click on “Publish chart” from the dropdown options.
Click on the “Link” or “Embed” tab based on your requirement.
Now Click on the “Publish” button

Click on customize tab at the top right side of your Google Sheet on the Chart editor screen .

Exapnd Chart Style by Click on the down arrow .
Under Chart Style options change and adjust the background colour ,Chart border colour and Font as per your requiremet .

Exapnd the Chart and Axis titles option by clicking on the down arrow key.

Adjust the Title text ,Title Font and Title font size,Title format and Title text Colour as per your requirement.

Expand the Legend option and adjust the Position to top,left, right or bottom whichever is required.
Select a Legend font ,Legend font size ,legend format and text color .
