Step 1: Open your Google Sheet with a list of items that you need to indent.
In the below example we have a list of Fruits without indent
Step 2: Select all the items in the list.
On your list select all the items in the cell which you want to indent.
Step 3 : Go to Format Menu
- Now go to the main menu and select Format menu
Step 4: Click on Number under Format Menu
- Under Format menu drop-down, go to Number .
Step 5 : Select Custom number format
Under Number select custom number format.
Step 6 : Provide your custom number format
- Once you click on Custome number format a new window will pop up.
- copy and paste ____@ on the provided Custom number formats screen and apply
Step 7 : Click on Apply
You will get an indented list for the select items as per your requirement.
