Insert a table from google sheets to google docs

Step 1: Open your Google Sheet with a Table

Step 2: Select the cells in the Sheet which you want to insert in Google docs.

Step 3: Go to the Edit menu and select Copy

  • Click on the Edit menu from the main menu bar.
  • From the Edit menu drop-down Select Copy
  • You can also use the Keyboard Shortcut CTRL+C

Step 4: Open Google docs and Paste the Copied Cells

  • Open your Google docs document where you want to insert the table.
  • Now right-click with the mouse and select Paste.
  • You can also use the keyboard Shortcut CTRL+V

Your required table will be inserted in Google docs.

Insert a Chart from google sheets to google docs

Step 1: Open your Google Sheet and create a Chart

As a first step, open your Google Spreadsheet with data. You can use an existing Sheet filled with data or create a new one.

  • Open your Google SpreadSheet.
  • Now Select the Cells with data for which you want to generate a Chart.
  • Go to the Insert menu and click on Chart which will generate a Chart for the Selected data.

How to insert Google Sheets into Google Docs

Step 2: Open Google Docs

Once your Chart is created in Google Sheets. Open your Google docs document where you need to insert a Google Sheet Data.

Step 3: Insert Chart from Google Sheets

  • Now Click on the Insert menu on the Main menu bar
  • From the Insert menu drop-down Select Chart
  • Under Chart Select “From Sheets

Insert->Chart->From Sheets

Step 3: Select the SpreadSheet and Import

  • A new window will pop up will appear where you can search and find your google spreadsheet. Select your required Google Sheet

Select the Spreadsheet under the import Chart and Click on Import

If you check the option “Link to Spreadsheet” any changes you make in the Google Spreadsheet will be dynamically updated in your Google docs as well.

Your Google Sheet Chart will be inserted and visible in your google docs document.
