How to Use Notion Web Clipper : Step by Step Guide
Install the browser extension on Chrome.
First, you need to install the Notion Web Clipper extension on your browser. In this example, we will install the extension on Chrome Browser.

Go to Chrome web store and search for the extension Notion Web Clipper in the search area.
Click on the extension and then click on “Add it to Chrome”
A pop-up message will come as shown below. Click on Add extension.
Now you will get the message stating “Notion Web Clipper has been added to Chrome”
Install the Chrome extension on Microsoft Edge.

Open the Microsoft Edge browser and search for “Notion Web clipper Chrome”.
Open the first result.
You will see the below message on top of your browser.
Click on “Add to chrome”
When the message comes: Add ” Notion Web Clipper” to Microsoft Edge, click on “Add extension.
Notion extension will be added to Microsoft Edge and you will see the extension on top of your Microsoft Edge browser Toolbar.

Then go to More tools-> Extensions for developers

Step 1: Logon to your Notion account.
Go to Notion.io on your browser and log in to your Notion web account with a registered email address.
Step 2: Navigate to the webpage which you want to Clip.
Open the webpage which you want to Clip in Notion.
Step 3: Select the Notion Webpage Clipper in the browser Toolbar.

If you don’t see the extension in Chrome. Go to extensions and click on Notion Web Clipper as shown below.
Once you click on Notion Web Clipper you will get the option to rename and save the page.
Step 3: Adjust the clip as per your need and save the page
Notion Web Clipper will gather the title of the webpage by default. You can click on the text area if you want to change the title text.
Click on the Save page.
Once you click on the save the page. Notion Web Clipper will ask whether you want to open the Web Clip in Notion(on your browser) or in the desktop app.
Click on Open in Notion or Open in the desktop app. The required Web clip will be visible in Notion under My Links as shown below.
How to clip a page as a link in Notion
Notion Web Clipper has a very good feature that allows you to clip a web page either to a page or Database as a link.

- Click on the Notion web-clipper. Go to “Add to ” and click on the drop-down menu with the down arrow sign.
- Select the Notion page in your account where you want to clip the webpage.
In this example, the web page is being clipped to the Journal page in Notion.
Click on Save
The web page was clipped to Journal Template Page.

Once you save the web Clip as a New link to the Notion Database. The link will appear as a sub-page in your Notion database.
- Click on the Notion web-clipper. Go to “Add to ” and click on the drop-down menu with the down arrow sign.
- Select the Notion Database in your account to create a new link to Database as a sub-page.
Click on Save or Select the Database table as per your need.
Notion Web clipper will create a New links Database.
