How to install and uninstall Google drive on Windows 10: Step by Step Guide
In order to install Google drive on Windows 10, you first need to download the Google drive setup file which is an executable with.exe extension
Enclosed are the steps to install Google Drive on Windows 10
Step 1: Download the Google drive setup file.
Go to the Google Drive download link and Click on Download Google drive for desktop

Step 2: Save the Setup File on your Local PC
Once you click on “Download drive for desktop” it will ask you to save the file on your PC.
Save the file to a folder.
Step 3: Run the Google Drive Setup file.
- Now go to the location where you have to save the setup file .
- Double click on the setup file to start the installation.
Provide the permission to Run the Setup, Click on allow
Step 4: Start the Installation
Now Click on Install
We have selected the option “Add an application shortcut to your desktop” if you don’t want a shortcut you can uncheck this option.
Once the installation is completed you will get the message “Google Drive successfully installed ” as shown below.
After this, a new Google drive Window will pop up where you need to log in with your Gmail account.
Uninstall Google drive on Windows 10

Step 1: Click on the Windows Start Menu
Step 2: Find the Google Drive app under G
You will find apps in Alphabetical order . Locate Google drive under G
Step 3: Right Click and Select Uninstall
Step 4: Select Google drive and Click on Uninstall/Change
Provide the necessary permission by clicking on Allow.
Step 5 : Click on Uninstall on the Google drive Uninstallation Wizard.
Google Drive will be Uninstalled
