Overview of Steps :

Step 1: Create your page in Notion where you want to add a Column or use an existing page.
Step 2: Move the cursor in front of Text which you want in a column
Step 3: Now drag the text anywhere on the page
Step 4: As soon you start dragging the context a blue line will appear which will show the direction where the text will go.
Step 5: A vertical blue line will appear which indicates a column is being created. Drop your text in front of the blue line.

By default, Notion doesn’t come with any specific feature to divide columns in notion.

You can divide columns in notion following the below steps.

Step 1: Start Notion and Open a Page where you want to divide the Column

Step 2: Move your mouse on the plus sign as shown below.

Step 3: Once you click on the plus sign, you will see the basic block option.

Scroll through the basic blocks and select “Quote” Option

Step 4: Once you Select the Quote option, you will see a vertical line inserted in your text area.

Step 6: To create a bigger Vertical line.Press Shift+Enter key
