Follow the below steps to add Subscript and Superscript in Notion.
- Open the Notion Page where you need to add Subscript or Superscript
- Navigate to the body of the Page and then type “/math”
- Now from the drop-down options select Inline equation
- Now type your subscript or Superscript
- To type, a Subscript use the underscore key “-“
- To type a Superscript use a caret sign key “^”
- Now Click on the Done Button to add it to your Notion page

Below are the steps to add Subscript and Superscript in Notion
Step 1: Open the Notion Page where you need to add Subscript or Superscript
Step 2: Navigate to the body of the Page and then type “/math”
Step 3: Now from the drop-down options select Inline equation
Step 4: Now type your subscript or Superscript
Once you select the inline equation, you will get the dialog box where you can type your equation
- To type, a Subscript use the underscore key “-“
- To type a Superscript use a caret sign key “^”
Step 4: Now Click on the Done Button to add it to your page
Your subscript or Superscript will be added to your Notion Page.
To add a Subscript to a Notion page follow the below steps
Open the Notion Page where you need a Subscript. Now type “/math” and select inline equation from the drop-down.
Now type your required Subscript
In this example we will type the following Subscript Vp Ip = Vs Is.
Now Click on Done . Your required Subscript will be added to your Notion Page.
